Nancy Sathre-Vogel and her husband decided to take their twin ten year-old sons on a family holiday - riding their bikes from Alaska to Argentina! Julie Angus gave up a career in Molecular Biology to cycle 13,000km and row 10,000km with her now-husband Colin, who was completing a human powered circumnavigation of the world. Velo Girls are a cycling club exclusively for women and girls in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have a comprehensive website that is well worth a look, even if you don't live in California.
