The Woman's Guide to Boating and Cooking (The Bond Wheelwright Company, 1968) by Lael Morgan is a book from another era! The author spent two years on a thirty-six foot schooner and the book is a delightful mix of nautical and 'boatkeeping' information, written in the manner of a mid-century housekeeping manual. After chuckling my way through this entertaining and informative book, I decided it had to be featured on a GO! Girls Outdoors profile - so here it is!
