Kelly Bruning is a Boston transplant now living in northern lower Michigan. She is an outdoor writer of non-fiction that appeals to all readers. Kelly has recently published articles in "Michigan Hooks and Bullets" magazine as well as "Tennessee Outdoor" magazine under the Women in the Outdoors sections. Her first book is titled "Misadventures and Fishing Tales." It is a collection of true short stories of her unintentional comical outdoor mishaps from a city gal turned country perspective. Her writing style transports the reader directly into the scene with vivid description of nature intertwined with humor and mischief that any reader can relate to. She believes in giving back to social causes and a portion of proceeds from her first book go to help fight Multiple Sclerosis.
